engnghia-Fiancé’s Secret Plan Was Worse Than The Acid Attack Before Wedding Day-engnghia

Rodrigo stood beside Valeria’s hospital bed, staring at the woman who had just uncovered the truth about the man she was supposed to marry. He had spent years protecting Sebastián Alcázar’s career, fixing problems, and keeping his public image clean. But now he knew the truth behind the hospital room confession.

Valeria had not simply been attacked by a stranger. She had been targeted by the person who promised to love her forever.

A week before the wedding, after a dress fitting, Valeria’s life changed in seconds. A man approached her and claimed he had a message from Sebastián. Then he threw acid onto the right side of her face.

The pain was immediate. She remembered the burning sensation, the panic, and the moment the world disappeared beneath her.

When she woke up in the hospital, bandages covered her face. She was afraid to open her eyes and see what remained after the attack. But before she could even understand her injuries, she heard voices outside her room.

One voice belonged to Rodrigo, Sebastián’s manager.

“Why didn’t you just leave Valeria?” Rodrigo asked. “Why pay someone to do this?”

Valeria stayed still.

She listened.

Because the answer would reveal that the attack was only one part of Sebastián’s betrayal.

Sebastián explained that leaving her before the wedding would make everyone suspicious. People would ask questions. They would wonder about Renata, the other woman he had been hiding.

He needed Valeria to disappear from the public eye while everyone believed he was the devastated fiancé standing by her side.

The man she loved had not been protecting their future.

He had been protecting his reputation.

Then came the words Valeria would never forget.

Sebastián said that if she was left scarred, it would be easier for him to keep control. He told Rodrigo he would provide a house, money, and care, believing Valeria would become dependent on him.

She realized he was not planning to save her from the pain.

He was planning to use it.

But the next confession was even harder to hear.

Sebastián revealed that Valeria’s three lost pregnancies were not accidents.

For years, she had cried in emergency rooms and blamed herself. She remembered him holding her afterward, telling her she had done nothing wrong.

Now she heard him admit that he had secretly manipulated her medical treatments because he did not want her to have his children.

The grief she carried for years suddenly had a different meaning.

She had mourned losses that were never natural.

She had trusted a man who was hiding an entire life from her.

Then Rodrigo heard the name Mateo.

Sebastián’s hidden son with Renata.

A child already four years old.

While Valeria believed they were building a family together, Sebastián had already created one somewhere else.

He planned to bring Mateo into the home after the legal wedding and convince Valeria to accept everything because, in his mind, she would have nowhere else to go.

His plan depended on one thing.

That Valeria would remain powerless.

But he did not know she was awake.

When Sebastián came to her bedside and gently held her hand, he acted like the loving fiancé everyone expected him to be.

“Wake up soon, my love,” he whispered. “We still have a wedding to have.”

Valeria waited until the door closed.

Only then did she open her eyes.

Rodrigo returned and immediately realized something had changed. He saw the fear in her face and understood she had heard everything.

Valeria raised one finger to her lips.

She did not want Sebastián to know.

Not yet.

“Help me,” she whispered.

Rodrigo asked if they should report him.

Valeria shook her head.

“First help me stay alive.”

That was the moment the balance changed.

Sebastián believed he had removed every obstacle between himself, Renata, and the life he wanted.

He believed Valeria’s injuries would make her easier to control.

He believed the wedding would still happen.

But he had made one mistake.

He underestimated the person he was trying to silence.

Rodrigo agreed to pretend nothing had changed. Sebastián needed to believe Valeria was still unaware, still dependent, and still unable to fight back.

While Sebastián prepared for a wedding built on lies, Rodrigo began quietly searching for the truth behind the hidden relationship.

He started with the one thing Valeria had never known existed.

A message connecting Renata, Mateo, and Sebastián from long before the hospital attack.

When Rodrigo showed Valeria the screen, she understood something that hurt even more than the betrayal she had already discovered.

This plan had not started one week before the wedding.

The lie had been growing for years.

And the next piece of evidence would reveal just how long Sebastián had been building a life behind her back.
